Our board of directors guide all of the work that takes place here at Community Crisis Response Team. Our expert board members are responsible for making decisions on everything from social media marketing to the welfare of our volunteers and the people we serve.

Dr. Kayla Cooley - Founder & Chair
Dr. Kayla Cooley is a transdisciplinary researcher and critical suicidologist whose work explores the intersections of life, death, the internet, and online extremism. Focussing on pro-suicide content, digital subcultures, and the ethics of online engagement, her research critically examines the ways technology shapes narratives of death, dying, and grief. Kayla lectures in the department of social sciences in the Technological University of the Shannon.

Caitriona Mc Mahon Cooley- Founding Director & Treasurer
Caitriona is co-founder and interim treasurer of Community Crisis Response Team. Caitriona graduated from Limerick Institute of Technology with a 1:1 BA (Hons) in Social Care Work. Caitriona is currently a postgraduate researcher in the Technological University of the Shannon focusing on childhood trauma. Caitriona holds qualifications in suicide prevention, intervention and postvention and also manages the day to day runnings of the charity, she also owns a training & consultancy agency.

Antoinette Cusack - Secretary
Antoinette is secretary of Community Crisis Response Team. Antoinette, solicitor, graduated from the University of Limerick and is currently an Associate Partner in Martina Murphy Solicitors.

Niall Dundon
Niall is our head of strategy. Niall has a BA(Hons) in Business & Computing and is currently completing an MA in Business. Niall is global strategic quality manager at a large multinational and has sat on the board of Community Crisis Response Team since 2020.

Jennifer Gallagher
Jennifer is Social Care Lead at Community Crisis Response Team. Jennifer is a graduate of the BA (Hons) Social Care Work in Limerick Institute of Technology, holds an MA in social work from University College Cork and is currently a lecturer at the Technological University of the Shannon and a CORU registered social worker.
