Our board of directors guide all of the work that takes place here at Community Crisis Response Team. Our expert board members are responsible for making decisions on everything from social media marketing to the welfare of our volunteers and the people we serve.
In 2018 the Charities Regulator published the Charities Governance Code. This code details the minimum standard expected of charities in Ireland. Community Crisis Response Team applaud the Regulator for laying out minimum requirements and we remain actively committed to achieving these standards and beyond.
We believe that transparency is the key to good charitable work that will benefit communities for years to come.
Kayla Cooley
Co-Founding Director & Chairperson
Kayla is co-founder and chairperson of Community Crisis Response Team. Kayla graduated from Limerick Institute of Technology with a 1:1 BA (Hons) in Social Care Work. Kayla is currently a postgraduate researcher in the Technological University of the Shannon focusing on suicide. Kayla holds qualifications in suicide prevention, intervention and postvention and also manages the day to day runnings of the charity, she also owns a training & consultancy agency.
Caitriona Mc Mahon
Co-Founding Director & Treasurer
Caitriona is co-founder and interim treasurer of Community Crisis Response Team. Caitriona graduated from Limerick Institute of Technology with a 1:1 BA (Hons) in Social Care Work. Caitriona is currently a postgraduate researcher in the Technological University of the Shannon focusing on childhood trauma. Caitriona holds qualifications in suicide prevention, intervention and postvention and also manages the day to day runnings of the charity, she also owns a training & consultancy agency.
Antoinette Cusack
Secretary and Legal Adviser
Antoinette is secretary of Community Crisis Response Team. Antoinette graduated from the University of Limerick and is currently an Associate Partner in Martina Murphy Solicitors.
Niall Dundon
Marketing & Strategy
Niall is our head of marketing & strategy. Niall has a BA(Hons) in Business & Computing and is currently completing an MA in Business. Niall is global strategic quality manager at a large multinational and has sat on the board of Community Crisis Response Team since 2020.
Jennifer Gallagher
Social Care Lead
Jennifer is Social Care Lead at Community Crisis Response Team. Jennifer is a graduate of the BA (Hons) Social Care Work in Limerick Institute of Technology, holds an MA in social work from University College Cork and is currently a lecturer at the Technological University of the Shannon and a CORU registered social worker.
