What is QPR Training?
QPR stands for Question, Persuade, Refer. QPR training will teach you how to ask someone if they are feeling suicidal, how to intervene safely and how to refer a person for help.

Who are the trainers?
Completing QPR through Community Crisis Response Team means you are being trained and certified by two experienced suicide intervention responders who can offer real life experience, and front-line perspective. Caitriona Mc Mahon & Kayla Cooley have 6 years combined experience in teaching QPR and have almost 10 years combined experience as active suicide intervention responders.
Kayla & Caitriona are co-founding directors of Community Crisis Response Team and have both earned BA (Hons) degrees in the field of Social Science. Kayla is now continuing as a postgraduate researcher in Limerick Institute of Technology - her research focuses on suicide. Caitriona is also continuing as a postgraduate researcher in Limerick Institute of Technology - her research focuses on childhood trauma. Kayla & Caitriona are certified trainers authorized to deliver QPR directly from the QPR Institute.
